Using Exported Data from an Existing Plan1. Refer this article for using exported data as a basis to build scenarios on. 2. Once you’ve exported the required data using the “Plan Details & Transactions” option at the Export page, save the resultant csv file, edit it as necessary, and then import it into a new blank plan. You now have your new scenario. This is the most efficient way to edit plans. To compare budgeted to actual cash flow, update a plan with actuals – for example at the end of each month – and append to a plan that keeps actuals per this article. For easy comparison overlay the graphs of budget and actual cash flow per Graph View. |
